Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Holistic Diesel website and your purchase of our mobile emissions testing services. By requesting an appointment or using this site, you agree to them.

Our services

We perform mobile CARB Clean Truck Check (HD I/M) OBD testing at your location. Eligible vehicles are heavy-duty diesel and diesel-hybrid vehicles with a GVWR of 14,000 lbs or more with 2013 or newer engines, and alternative-fuel and alternative-fuel hybrid heavy-duty vehicles with 2018 or newer engines. We do not perform opacity testing.

Booking and scheduling

• Submitting the form is a request, not a confirmed appointment. An appointment is confirmed when we respond by text, email, or phone.
• You are responsible for providing accurate vehicle information and for having the vehicles accessible, running, and available at the scheduled time.
• Please give us notice if you need to reschedule. Repeated no-shows may require prepayment.

Pricing and payment

Single test: $150 per truck. 6-Month Test Bundle: $200 per truck, covering the initial test plus the next required test approximately six months later, with reminders. Fleet pricing is available for two or more trucks. There are no trip fees within our service area. Prices are subject to change; the price quoted at confirmation applies to that appointment. Payment is due at completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Results and compliance

We perform and submit tests according to CARB requirements. We do not control CARB systems, deadlines, fees, or enforcement outcomes, and we cannot guarantee that a vehicle will pass. A failed test may require repairs and a retest, which are billed separately. You remain responsible for your own compliance obligations, including keeping your CARB account and vehicle records current.

Cancellation

Either party may cancel or reschedule an appointment before service begins. If our crew is already on site and testing cannot be performed for reasons within your control, we may charge for the visit.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by California law, our total liability arising out of any service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue, downtime, or penalties assessed by third parties. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Disputes and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Southern California, and both parties agree to attempt informal resolution first by contacting schedule@holisticdiesel.com.
