Holistic Diesel ("we", "us") provides mobile CARB Clean Truck Check testing in Southern California. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the rights California residents have under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA.

Information we collect

• Contact and booking details you submit: name, company, phone number, email address, service location, preferred date and time.
• Vehicle information: truck count, truck year, VIN, and engine number used to perform and record the emissions test.
• Message content you send through our contact form, text messages, or email.
• Basic technical data automatically generated when you visit the site, such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed.

How we use it

• Schedule, perform, and document your Clean Truck Check testing.
• Send appointment confirmations, reminders, and follow-up test notices.
• Respond to your questions and provide customer support.
• Submit required test results to the California Air Resources Board (CARB).
• Maintain business records and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell or share your personal information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law. We have not done so in the preceding 12 months. We also do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Service providers

We disclose limited information to vendors that operate our website, database, and email delivery on our behalf. They may use it only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information when required by law or to submit test results to CARB.

Text message (SMS) consent

If you text us or provide your phone number when booking, you consent to receive service related text messages about your appointment. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We do not send marketing texts without separate consent, and we never share mobile opt-in data with third parties for marketing.

Retention

We keep booking, testing, and message records for as long as needed to provide service, meet CARB recordkeeping requirements, and comply with tax and legal obligations, then delete or anonymize them.

Your California privacy rights

• Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your personal information.
• Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Limit use of sensitive personal information (we do not use it for other purposes).
• Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted transport and access-controlled storage, to protect the information we hold.
